It’s a terrible thought, isn’t it? But it’s true. None of us will admit to ourselves about how deathly scared we are of not finding what we’re looking for. What are we looking for? Who knows. True love, fame and fortune, the meaning of life, that really good cup of coffee, a passionate kiss, God? I don’t know. I don’t even know what I’m really looking for.
All I know is that I’m scared. Scared of dying without accomplishing anything real, anything meaningful. I’m frightened at the idea of an unfulfilled life.Sometimes, I wonder if this is how people who are afraid of the dark feel…
